from Holderness on Rt. 113 past the Rockywold Camp turnoff. There is a
parking area on the left and the trailhead on the right. This easy to
moderate 20–25 minute hike up Rattlesnake Mountain offers great views
of Squam Lake from the top. |

The trail begins off Bean Road in Center Harbor. Follow the road for
approximately 2-1/2 miles. The sign for the “Red Hill Summit” will be
on the right. The hike up to the fire tower on top is 3-1/2 miles and
