The illustrations of English artist Cicely Mary Barker (1895-1973) have charmed children and adults alike since her first book, Flower Fairies of the Spring, was published in 1923. Her sweet, enchanting fairies, which were modeled after the children in her sister's kindergarten class, were painted to match the spirit of the flowers and plants that she captured in meticulous detail.
Watch sweet little sprites with butterfly wings lend enchantment to the nursery or a little girl's room.
Each 23" x 43" quilt is simply made from a printed panel.
