The Midnight Meadow fabric collection was inspired by one stunning border stripe that was printed, dyed and painted on plain weave cotton fabric, circa 1850-1900. It is currently housed at the Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City. Many of the coordinates are pull-outs from this main border stripe as well as other artifacts from the museum, including wallpaper, ceramics and other objects.
