The Starry Sampler by Scott Flanagan of 4th & Main Designs was originally created for McCall’s Quilting back in 2021. This beautiful batik quilt is now available as a comprehensive 9-month Block of the Month project featuring 4th & Main Favorites. The full size 80” x 92” quilt repeats the same block in two different sizes and uses multiple block sizes—24", 12", and 6"— to create a sense of movement amongst the star blocks across a dark, dramatic background.
Each month for 9 months you’ll receive the pattern and the fabrics needed for that section of the 80” x 92” quilt. Save your leftovers each month as they may be required in later months. Separately we’re offering a Starry Sampler 14-Piece fat quarter pack which will be great to have on hand in case of any miscuts or to create a coordinating project. Backing is also available separately. 7-½ yards of 44” is recommended.
