In shades of blue, purple and green batiks, this striking quilt design by Mary B. Hayes looks just like a classic Hunter's Star block, but, it is much easier to make because Thangles eliminates the need to do complicated Y seams. All you do is make half square triangles with Thangles and piece the simple block. When the blocks are put together, the Hunter's Star is revealed.
