The Liberty Island collection, designed by Kellie Beckwith of Tulip Cottage Quilts in collaboration with the Smithsonian for Marcus Fabrics, is a patriotic, 14-piece fabric line released for 2026 to celebrate America's semiquincentennial. Inspired by her own family's history of immigration and military service, Beckwith designed her Liberty Island Sampler Block of the Month quilt with these fabrics.
All at once you’ll receive the pattern and the fabrics needed to complete the top and binding of the quilt. The finished quilt size is 64” x 76.” You may also want to add the Liberty Island 14-Piece fat quarter pack to your cart in case of any miscuts or to create a coordinating project. Backing is also available separately. Two yards of 108” wide or 4-½ yards of 44” is recommended. Kellie recommends the Studio 180 Tucker Trimmer I and Wing Clipper I and Wing Clipper II tools for this project.
