A Year In Stitches by Pastthyme Patterns and Marcus Fabrics is a charming Block of the Month program that celebrates the beauty of the changing seasons through hand stitching. Designed with a warm, folk-art aesthetic, each monthly block features delightful motifs inspired by nature, gardens, and country living, combining wool appliqué with decorative embroidery details for added texture and dimension. Perfect for both experienced stitchers and adventurous beginners, A Year In Stitches offers a relaxing month-by-month journey filled with creative stitching techniques, seasonal inspiration, and timeless handcrafted charm.

Creative options include wool background for individual display, or combining blocks as desired, for a variety of end uses including wall hangings, pillows, table toppers, bed runners, bag fronts, mounted or framed pieces, and more.   Each scallop measures approximately 8" and can be placed on an optional 12 square background.

Each month will contain a 9x9 cream background wool square as well as the colored pieces for the designated month, and the monthly pattern with a colored layout design for cutting the wool applique pieces, all packaged in a coordinating envelope for that month.
