The Polaris Block of the Month quilt is bold, dramatic, and absolutely packed with movement. Using fabrics from Wilmington Batiks' Polaris collection, cool shades of aqua, teal, lavender, and purple seem to glow against the deep, dark background, creating a quilt with incredible contrast and dimension.

The design builds outward from a striking geometric center, with stars, angular shapes, and repeating blocks creating layer after layer of symmetry. Follow the design from the center outward and you'll continue to discover new details, all tied together by that gorgeous cool-toned palette.

At 92″ x 102″, Polaris is a generously sized quilt with plenty of presence. Our 10-month Block of the Month program breaks this impressive project into manageable installments, giving you something new to look forward to each month. Be sure to save your leftover fabric each month as they may be required in later months. Backing is available separately, 8.5 yards x 44" or 3.5 yards x 108" is recommended.
