Carolyn has been patchwork quilting for years but only took up collage in the last 2 years. Although she felt challenged with color choices for her quilt, she was able to utilize all 6 fabrics in her design along with a black for the eye pupil.

Kathy's creativity and ingenuity in her design received her this honorable mention. Kathy’s quilt was inspired by her desire to try cut & glue collaging versus paper with fabric technique. Each piece was cut and pasted and she long armed her finished quilt with a beautiful design. Kathy has been quilting for 5 years.

Cindy’s design was noted for the realistic quilt image, stunning and thoughtfully arranged color combinations, and remarkable attention to detail in fussy-cutting the fabrics to create depth and variation.
Cindy’s design was inspired by a Violet Craft pattern. Her quilt was designed using the challenge fabrics and also creatively fussy cutting stonehenge fabric to achieve more color combinations throughout. Cindy has been quilting for 10 years.
