Inspired by Marcia Derse’s artistic process, Moody Mod: Part 1 grew from a palette of earthy pigments, muted neutrals, warm ochres, soft lavenders, deep blues, and expressive hand-drawn marks. The companion Overflow collection expands those colors with beautifully textured stripe batiks, giving this quilt incredible movement and depth. Together, they create a sophisticated modern quilt that rewards a closer look, with every block revealing new combinations of color and pattern. 

The pattern is fat quarter friendly, allowing the collections to shine through a wide variety of fabrics while keeping the piecing approachable. The Wishing Well Quilt Kit includes the Wishing Well Quilt Pattern by Natalie Barnes and all fabric needed to complete the top and binding of a 68.5" x 68.5" quilt. Backing is available separately, 4.5 yards x 44" is recommended.
